STORAGE OPTIONS FOR FORTINET HARDWARE PLATFORMS

Fortinet all-in-one storage modules extend the capabilities of Fortinet platforms. With FortiGate® multi-threat security platforms, the modules provide local storage facilities for security and system events. In addition, they can enable the WAN optimization feature available in FortiOS™ software version 4.0 or later1, which works to accelerate applications commonly affected by slower network connections.

The Fortinet ASM-S08 module is a single-width Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) form-factor option. The ASM-S08 module features an 80 GB commercial-grade hard disk drive (HDD).

The Fortinet FSM-064 module is a single-width Fortinet Storage Module (FSM) form-factor option. The FSM-064 module features a 64 GB Solid State Drive (SSD).

The ASM-S08 module is a single-width AMC form-factor option that adds all-in-one internal storage to supported FortiGate platforms. The ASM-S08 features a 80GB commercial-grade hard disk drive.
